What type of prove then they will need to support that? Because anybody can lie. My employer already did it with another coworker. How can you protect yourself from those type of employers?pedrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12333295615541242968noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1685903630161577363.post-77581551587521099962016-12-23T10:49:10.772-05:002016-12-23T10:49:10.772-05:00my employer is very scary. she fired an employee u...my employer is very scary. she fired an employee unfairly. The employee tried to collect unemployment but unemployment denied it because her employer sent unemployment a letter that it was supposedly sent to her about her quitting the job. She never quit and i am a witness. Now I am afraid that my employer could lie about anything. two days ago i asked one of my coworkers how many hours was her meeting, because i wanted to compare it since my meeting was longer than hers and she paid me the same amount of hours. I went and told my employer that i asked my coworker about hours and that's how i figured it out. She got mad and told me that what i did was illegal and that it was on the manual. I told her that it was not illegal but she said she will look into it and once she find out i will be punish for that. Now knowing how she is, i am afraid she will lie about it and will make something up, just to fire me, which i feel is what she is trying to do. She can said i was looking into HR to find out other employees pay which is illegal and fire me for that. In case she want to lie about it, what prove does she needs to accuse me of looking into HR? She can lie just to fired me when i just asked my coworker how many hours, not even how much got paid which still not illegal. Please let me know to know how to defend myself in the worth case scenario. pedrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12333295615541242968noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1685903630161577363.post-59015723591972522312015-05-20T00:21:18.114-04:002015-05-20T00:21:18.114-04:00This comment has been removed by the author.dougdavis2000https://www.blogger.com/profile/07496370536629123564noreply@blogger.com
